This page explains how to delete your Nihongo account and the data associated with it. Nihongo is operated by Estate One Company Limited. Questions: support@bynetica.com.

1Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Nihongo and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and cloud data are deleted, and the device is signed out and wiped.

2Or request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email support@bynetica.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify it's you and complete the deletion. We respond within 30 days (sooner where the law requires).

3What gets deleted

  • Your account and login (email / Google / Apple identifiers).
  • Your synced learning data: word & grammar decks, review history and schedule, streaks, goals, bookmarks, notes, stickers, and settings.
  • Personal content you submitted (e.g., saved readings).

4What may be retained (and for how long)

  • Anonymized / aggregated usage analytics that can no longer identify you — retained indefinitely.
  • Already-public community content you contributed may remain in anonymized form.
  • Records we must keep for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention reasons — kept only for the period the law requires, then deleted. Purchase/subscription receipts are held by Apple or Google, not us.
  • Routine backups are purged on our normal rotation (within 30 days).
